As a first-generation college student, I am invested in the power of higher education for personal and social change. My teaching is primarily in first-year composition and theater ("Latinos on Stage and Screen," "Women in Theater," and "Theater for Social Change"). The visual and performative aspect of teaching dramatic literature, as well as the excitement of my non-Theater or English major students in class have inspired me to learn more about how the digital can enhance student learning.
