I’m the Information Literacy Librarian and the subject librarian for Television, Film, Theatre, New Media, and the Comic Arts. I’m also the primary library liaison to the Course Design Institute, where I have worked to help faculty incorporate information literacy into the curriculum for the past 7 years. Additionally, I manage the library’s information literacy instructional design resources to facilitate creation of online instructional tools by library faculty and staff.

I regularly teach information literacy skills courses to students, including graduate-level courses in TTFM and undergraduate writing students (RWS, for example). I explore the use of digital technologies to create online learning objects (tutorials, videos, online activities) and use technology in the physical classroom (online research, clickers, other polling systems). I’ve also presented on my projects at scholarly conferences and written journal articles.
