I am currently a Data Curation Specialist and Faculty Liaison Librarian in the UC San Diego Library's Research Data Curation Program and project manager in the Digital Library Development Program. I am new to these positions, approximately 1 year, but I previously worked in the UC San Diego Arts Library (~10 years) as a Media Specialist/ Departmental Systems Administrator before the library reorganized. In that position, I managed media digitization production and the departments IT resources. I am still learning about data curation and my role as an academic librarian.
