I used to teach awesome students in Washington, D.C. about social studies, and learned a lot about life from them. Currently I'm working on my PhD in Urban Schooling and Learning Sciences at UCLA--hoping to research how the use of technology and critical theory can influence students academic identity and efficacy. I also work part-time as a technology integration teacher coach at a LAUSD high school, and spent most of the rest of my time knitting, baking or reading.
